OA JET’s 2026 Film: Malcolm and Me
This year’s annual OA JET training film will feature award-winning author and screenwriter Robin Farmer's adaptation of her acclaimed novel, Malcolm and Me. Farmer will serve as screenwriter and director of the proof-of-concept film, giving OA JET participants a rare opportunity to train with a nationally recognized storyteller from development through production. The project is supported in part by an active NEA Art Projects grant, with additional funds raised to ensure participants are paid, mentored, and working at a professional level.
